[BK21] 26th Brown Bag Seminar: Jaeseo’s Presentation & Saehee’s Discussion 🎓

Updated: Feb 9

The 26th Brown Bag Seminar hosted by the BK21 was held on October 2, 2025 (Thu), from 11:00 to 13:00, at the Media Hall at Korea University. The Brown Bag Seminar series is always a valuable opportunity to learn about ongoing research across different labs within the department.

The first presentation was delivered by Choi Jaeseo, a BK21 doctoral student, under the title “From Shorts to Streams: Applying the AIDA Model to Short-form Music Content.” The second presentation was given by Cho Eunsoo, a BK21 master’s student, titled “Children’s Physical Exposure in YouTube Parenting Vlogs: A Quantitative Content Analysis of On-screen Representation.” Focusing on YouTube parenting vlogs, the study examined patterns of children’s physical exposure and sparked active discussion on ethical boundaries.

During the discussion session, our lab member Shin Saehe served as the designated discussant for Cho Eunsoo’s presentation. By posing well-structured and critical questions, she helped facilitate a fruitful discussion that connected empirical findings to broader debates on digital labor, family vlogging, and child protection in platform environments.
