Naver SME Facilitator Program Results-Sharing Event at Korea University

The Naver SME Facilitator Program Results-Sharing Event was held on December 22, 2025, at the Media Building of Korea University. The event showcased the outcomes of the SME Facilitator program, an industry–academia collaboration initiative led by Naver to support small and medium-sized local businesses through digital marketing.

The SME Facilitator program was conducted from September to December 2025 in partnership with five universities nationwide. Through the program, university student teams were matched one-to-one with nearby local business owners, supporting them in areas such as Smart Place management, advertising strategy, and online content optimization.

Naver’s advertising division provided both practical guidance and advertising credits, enabling students to gain hands-on experience while assisting businesses facing digital marketing challenges. A total of 159 students participated in the program, working closely with 37 local businesses throughout the semester. During the results-sharing event, eight outstanding teams were selected to present their project outcomes.

This event illustrated the value of collaboration between industry, academia, and local communities. What stood out in particular was that undergraduate students were able to generate tangible, real-world outcomes through industry–academia collaboration. By connecting classroom learning with real marketing challenges, the SME Facilitator program not only provided students with hands-on experience but also supported small businesses in navigating digital transformation.
