[SSRC, CIS] 2025 The 2nd SUITE Forum: Returning to KU as a Professor

On March 24, 2025, SUITE LAB hosted the 2nd SUITE Forum of the year under the theme “Returning to KU as a Professor” at the CCL in the basement of Korea University’s Central Plaza.

The forum featured Professor Junghwan Kim, a proud SUITE LAB alumnus who has recently been appointed as an associate professor in the School of Media & Communication at Korea University. Moderated by Professor Sungchul Kim, the event was both celebratory and reflective, marking Professor Kim’s meaningful return to his academic roots.

In his talk titled “I’m Back: Full Circle in My Academic Journey,” Professor Kim shared the personal and professional milestones that shaped his path—from his time as a graduate student at SUITE LAB to his experiences abroad and his eventual return to KU as a faculty member. His candid reflections on academic life, mentorship, and the value of persistence offered insightful guidance to current lab members and students.
