[SSRC, CIS] 2026 the 2nd SUITE FORUM, For Better Networking

On February 11th, SUITE Lab hosted the 2nd SUITE Forum under the theme “For Better Networking” at the Media Hall of Korea University. The forum brought together faculty members, researchers, and graduate students from multiple institutions for an afternoon of meaningful exchange and connection.

The session was moderated by Professor Jungwhan Kim (Korea University), and opening remarks were delivered by Professor Yoonhyuk Chung (Korea University). Their welcoming messages set the tone for an event centered not only on presenting research, but on strengthening academic networks across institutions and disciplines.

This year’s forum featured an outstanding lineup of panelists—many of whom are SUITE Lab alumni who have gone on to build distinguished careers as researchers and professors. Representing institutions such as Korea University, Dong-A University, Nagoya University, Chonnam National University, Jeonbuk National University, Gachon University, and Dongduk Women’s University, they returned not only as scholars but as senior members of the SUITE community. The diversity of their institutional affiliations and research trajectories made the discussions especially rich and dynamic.

Throughout the forum, participants shared their current research interests, institutional experiences, and perspectives on collaboration. Rather than focusing solely on formal presentations, the event emphasized open dialogue and relationship-building. The atmosphere was both professional and warm, allowing attendees to engage in thoughtful conversations while also reconnecting with colleagues and meeting new scholars.

For SUITE Lab members, the forum was a valuable opportunity to participate collectively in shaping a broader academic community. Seeing so many researchers gathered in one place reinforced the importance of sustained collaboration and interdisciplinary exchange in our field.
