The session opened with an address by Sewoong Kim, Vice President of Kakao’s AI Synergy TF. Two invited presentations followed, each examining the current state and future direction of AI agent technologies.

Prof. Taehyun Ha (Sejong University) introduced recent trends in user research enabled by generative AI agents, highlighting the new possibilities these technologies offer for understanding real user behavior and experiences. Prof. Kyeongyi Kim (Yonsei University) discussed the future of innovation driven by AI agents, outlining potential areas of transformation across social and cultural domains.

After the presentations, a panel discussion took place with experts from Korea University, Sogang University, the University of Seoul, and the EBS AI Education Team. The panel addressed how generative AI and agent technologies may be applied in education, media, industry, and the public sector, while also considering the limitations and ethical issues that accompany their rapid development.

As AI technologies continue to expand rapidly, the seminar offered a meaningful opportunity to gain a balanced perspective on both the possibilities and the broader social implications of this evolving technological landscape.
