From April 22 to 24, 2026, the Smart Media Service Research Center (SSRC) participated in the 2026 ITRC Talent Fair, held at COEX Hall A. The event, organized under the theme “Leading Talent for Technological Sovereignty in the Era of AI Transformation,” brought together university research centers, students, researchers, and industry participants to share cutting-edge ICT research and talent development initiatives.

At the fair, SSRC operated its booth under ITRC 303, introducing the center’s ongoing research projects in smart media services, artificial intelligence, OTT technologies, platform markets, and digital content production. Through poster presentations, SSRC showcased four major research areas: user-based OTT broadcasting technologies, AI-based technologies for next-generation OTT services, policy research on smart media technologies and platform markets, and smart media content production research.

The exhibition highlighted SSRC’s interdisciplinary approach to smart media research. The center presented studies on AI-driven media technologies, next-generation OTT service development, intelligent platform environments, user behavior, and content production strategies. These projects demonstrated how SSRC seeks to advance both technological innovation and social understanding in the rapidly changing media and ICT landscape.

In addition to the research exhibition, SSRC also operated a special interactive booth titled “Challenge the Master: GEN.G Gi-ssa Fighter.” This booth invited visitors to test their gaming abilities through a series of interactive tasks designed to measure reaction speed, aiming accuracy, tracking skills, visual memory, and cognitive flexibility. Participants were able to experience how gaming performance can be scientifically measured and compared with professional-level indicators. After completing the challenge, participants could check their scores, compare their rankings, and receive a personalized PDF report. The booth offered an engaging and accessible way for visitors to experience SSRC’s research interests in gaming, digital media, data analytics, and user performance measurement.

Through its participation in the 2026 ITRC Talent Fair, SSRC introduced its research achievements to a wider audience and created opportunities for students, researchers, and industry professionals to engage with current developments in smart media technologies. The event also served as a meaningful platform for sharing SSRC’s vision for future media innovation and ICT talent development.
