Attending the Poster Session at the 3rd Lab-to-Life Research Festival 🧪🌱

The 3rd Lab-to-Life Research Festival (2025) was held as a large-scale research festival designed to bridge academic research and everyday life. Guided by the three core themes—Into the Lab, Cross the Lab, and To the Life—the festival aimed to share innovative laboratory research with the public, encourage interdisciplinary exchange across departments, and highlight the social value of research outcomes as they translate into real-world impact. Under this vision, SUITE Lab participated in the graduate student poster session, a key program of the festival that provides graduate researchers with an opportunity to communicate their research findings beyond academic audiences.

This year, three doctoral students from SUITE Lab—Seungyeon Ha, Jaeyoung, and Scott—participated in the poster presentations. Each presenter introduced their ongoing research, shared key findings, and engaged in direct conversations with visitors. For instance, Scott presented his ongoing research on the Web3 creator economy, focusing on how early adoption facilitates value co-creation within emerging ecosystems. Seungyeon shared her revised study on webtoon merchandise purchasing intention, discussing how narrative attributes and fan attributes are respectively related to the perceived value of merchandise.

Overall, the poster session served as a meaningful reminder that research does not remain within the lab. Through dialogue with audiences from different disciplines and everyday contexts, the experience helped reaffirm the importance of communicating research in ways that are open, relatable, and socially grounded.
